IPL 2025, MI vs KKR Highlights: Mumbai Indians chased down a target of 117 in just 12.5 overs and are back to winning ways with an 8-wicket win over Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Monday. The Hardik Panday-led Mumbai jumped to the sixth spot in the points table with +0.309 NRR after this win while defending champions KKR slumped to last place with a -1.426 NRR.

Mumbai though on paper has a very good side that can upstage any opposition on their day is yet to click as a collective. Against Chennai Super Kings while the bowling did a decent job it was the batting which did struggle. Against the Gujarat Titans, both departments have collectively combusted a few missed opportunities in the field too.

Meanwhile, Rahane did look a bit lacklustre with his captaincy in the opening game but did make some sharp tactical moves in the game against the Royals. While the spinners Varun Chakarvarthy and Sunil Narine have found their mojo it is the pacers who need to start hitting their mark for Kolkata to become a complete attack. The batting has been a hit-and-miss. In the first game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru despite a half-century from Rahane, they have only put on a sub-par total.
